shutterstock_216829678As an Inbound Marketing Consultant, most of my job involves writing. Whether it's a blog, eBook, or social media post, I feel like I'm always writing. As a writer, I know that getting stuck in a rut and dealing with writer's block is the absolute worst. There are few things more frustrating than staring at the computer screen trying to write a blog โ€“ only to have nothing happen. The words aren't coming to you, you have no idea what to say, and you're just left staring at the clock watching time fade away.

Everyone has different methods for overcoming the frustrating moments of writer's block. For me, it's helpful to step away from my writing for a few moments and read something completely unrelated to what I'm working on. Specifically, I love reading quotes about writing. You know, the kind that makes you want to be a better writer.

So for all you writers out there struggling to finish that blog post or eBook, here are some of my favorite quotes about writing, creativity, and being a writer.
